What drives the price

What is different about selling locally:

We can come and see it. Within a couple of hours of the shop a buyer can look at the car in person before you commit, and the pickup is our own trailer rather than a carrier.
Pennsylvania titles need a notary. A PA title assignment must be signed in front of a notary or a licensed agent; we bring that to the pickup so you do not make a trip.
New Jersey and New York titles are assigned on the title itself with no notary; we walk you through the odometer and lien sections so nothing bounces at the DMV.
Loans are common and fine. We pay the lender directly, wait for the lien release if needed, and you get the balance the same business day you accept.
Rust is the local question. Salt-road cars are priced on their underside; a garaged, summer-only car from this region is worth telling us about.

When another route is better

Philadelphia and New York have busy collector-car auction calendars and several consignment dealers. If your car is exceptional and you can wait a month or two, ask us for our outright number first and take it with you — it costs nothing and tells you what a sure thing looks like.

Questions we get about this

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car to Huntingdon Valley?

We come to you. Within a couple of hours of the shop we collect with our own trailer; further away we arrange a carrier at our cost. You are welcome to visit the shop by appointment if you prefer.

I'm in New Jersey — does that change anything?

No. Same offer, same-day payment, and we handle the New Jersey title assignment and pickup.

What about New York or Delaware?

Same process. New York City and North Jersey are about two hours from the shop and we pick up there weekly.

Do I need to have the car inspected or emissions-tested before selling?

No. We buy the car as it is, and a lapsed inspection sticker does not affect the offer.
