What we collect

When you use 4byfreak.com — most often the "sell us your car" form — we collect what you give us:

Contact info — your name, phone number and email address.
Vehicle info — year, make, model, mileage, condition, and anything else you tell us about the car.
Photos — pictures of the vehicle you upload or text to us.
Ad attribution — if you arrived from one of our ads, we record which ad brought you (campaign tags and click identifiers such as Google's gclid or Meta's fbclid).

The sell form saves as you type, so what you've entered can reach us even if you never press send. We do that so a dropped connection or an interruption doesn't lose your enquiry — if you'd rather we didn't have it, just don't type it, or ask us to delete it (below).

Like every website, our servers also keep routine technical logs (IP address, browser type) to keep the site running and secure.

How the site is used

To see which parts of our pages actually help people — and which ones confuse them — we record interaction data on our own servers: where the cursor moves, what gets clicked or tapped, how far down a page people scroll, screen size, and what gets entered into the fields on our forms. It lets us watch a visit back over the page, including what was typed into each box, so we can see where a form goes wrong before someone gives up on it.

What it records of your typing: the contents of form fields on this site (for example the car details, name, phone and email you enter on the sell page), captured as the field is filled in — the same information you are choosing to send us. It never records passwords or payment details, and nothing you type anywhere else. It runs entirely on our own servers; no analytics or session-recording company is involved and nothing is shared with one. A random identifier stored in your browser lets us tell one visit from another. We keep these recordings for 60 days and then delete them automatically; if you'd rather we didn't have one, ask and we'll delete it (below).

Why we collect it

To make you an offer. Contact info, vehicle details and photos are exactly what we need to value your car and get back to you with a number.
To follow up. If we make a deal, we use the same information to arrange paperwork, payment and pickup.
To measure our ads. Attribution data tells us which ads actually lead to real enquiries. We may report a conversion back to the ad platform (Google or Meta) using the click identifier and, where the platform requires it, a hashed version of contact details. That reporting is about measuring our ads — it doesn't give anyone the ability to contact you.

Calls and texts

When you submit a form with your phone number, you agree that 4 By Freak LLC may call or text you at that number about your vehicle or enquiry. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase or sale. Message frequency varies and message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help — or just tell whoever calls you, and we'll stop.

What we never do

We never sell your information. Not to marketers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
We don't share it either, except with the service providers who help us run the business (website hosting, document signing, ad measurement as described above) or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and transaction records as long as we need them to do business and meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed dealer. If you'd like us to delete what we hold about you, ask — unless we're legally required to keep it, we will.
